Rovers 3 V 2 Notts County
On a really good pitch for the end of the season Rovers started brightly making a number of chances from good positive play.Notts County were a big physical side but Rovers were winning all the 1 to 1 battles and right on the referees whistle to end the first period they went ahead following some good work down the left.
Rovers continued to press in the 2nd period and after more good football they increased their lead.
As the 3rd period began Rovers stepped up the tempo and went 3 up when after a number of crosses flew across the County goal the ball was lashed in. After a lapse of concentration County pulled 2 goals back 1 of which was with the very last kick of the game. So the boys finished the season with 3 wins 2 of which were away, a really good end to the season.
