The FA’s child protection literature makes many important statements. It believes that football can have a powerful, positive influence on children. Everyone involved in the game must ensure that youngsters enjoy their sport in safety. The FA, therefore, has developed a child protection policy and helpline.
Doncaster Rovers FC is committed to following this advice and these guidelines. At the club we have our own policy, and all adults involved in the training of and assistance with the children have taken on the responsibility for their safety. They have been vetted through the FA CRB unit, so we are making every positive effort to follow the guidelines.
Our policy aims to ensure a happy, family environment where children can enjoy their football alongside the learning of skills.
